Sons of the ForestSons of the Forest servers support multiple save slots, allowing you to maintain different worlds or game states. You can switch between save slots to load different saves without losing progress.
Each save slot maintains its own world state, player progress, and buildings. Changing save slots will load an entirely different world.
Changing the Save Slot
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
- Click the Settings tab and select Sons of The Forest Game Settings.
- Locate Save Slot and select your desired slot.
- Click Save and Start your server.
Using Multiple Save Slots
Multiple save slots are useful for:
- Maintaining separate worlds for different player groups
- Testing configurations without affecting your main world
- Creating backups before major changes
- Running events on a separate save
The save slot has been changed on your server.
