How to Enable or Disable Automatic Updates on Your Sons of the Forest Server

Configure automatic updates to keep your Sons of the Forest server current.

Automatic updates keep your server running the latest version of Sons of the Forest without manual intervention. When enabled, the server will automatically download and install updates when they become available.

Players must have the same game version as the server to connect. If automatic updates are disabled, ensure your players know which version to use.

Enabling or Disabling Automatic Updates

  1. Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server. Wabbanode control panel with stop button

  4. Click Save and Start your server.
