Once your Valheim server is running, you can connect to it using the in-game server browser. You'll need your server address and password to join.
All Wabbanode Valheim servers are created with a randomly generated password. You can find this password in the Settings tab, or change or remove it before connecting.
Finding Your Server Address
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and select your Valheim server.
- Find the Server Address in the sidebar on the left side of the panel.

Your server address includes both the IP and port (e.g., 123.456.78.90:2456). You'll need the full address including the port to connect.
Connecting to Your Server
- Launch Valheim and click Start Game on the main menu.

- Select your character and click Start.

- Click Join Game.

- Click the Add Server button.

- Paste your server address (including the port) and click Add Server.

- Select your server from the list and click Connect.

- Enter the server password when prompted and press Enter to join.

You're now connected to your Valheim server!
Your server will be saved in your server list for easy access next time. You won't need to add it again.
Troubleshooting
If you can't connect to your server:
- Check the server is running - Make sure your server shows as "Online" in the control panel
- Verify the address - Ensure you're using the complete server address including the port number
- Check the password - Make sure you're entering the correct password (passwords are case-sensitive)
- Wait for startup - New servers may take a few minutes to fully start before accepting connections
You're now connected to your Valheim server and ready to explore with friends. Your server will remain in your server list for quick access in future sessions.
