A server password prevents unauthorized players from joining your Valheim world. All new Wabbanode servers are created with a randomly generated password for security. You can change this to something memorable or remove it entirely to make your server public.
Changing the Server Password
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.

- Click the Settings tab.

- Locate the Server Password field and enter your desired password.

- Click Save and Start your server.
Players will now need to enter the new password when connecting to your server.
Removing the Server Password
To make your server open to anyone:
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and select your Valheim server.
- Stop your server.

- Click the Settings tab.

- Clear the Server Password field so it's empty.

- Click Save and Start your server.
Your server is now public and anyone can join without a password.
Removing the password allows anyone to join your server. Consider using a whitelist instead if you want to restrict access to specific players.
Your Valheim server password has been updated. Players will need the new password to connect, or can join freely if you removed it.
