BeamMP is CPU-intensive because every vehicle's soft-body physics is synchronized across all players, so single-thread performance matters more than raw core count. For BeamMP server RAM, plan around 4 GB for up to 10 drivers with a couple of vehicles each, and 6 GB or more as you push toward 20+ players. BeamMP server requirements also grow with the number of vehicles spawned per person, so cap that in ServerConfig.toml if performance dips. Fast NVMe storage keeps maps and server-side mods loading quickly. BeamMP runs on port 30814 (TCP and UDP).

How do I set up my BeamMP server?
Setting up your BeamMP server is quick and easy. After selecting your plan, our automated system deploys your server in minutes. Configure your player limits and vehicle settings, then share your server details with friends to start driving together.
How many players can join my BeamMP server?
BeamMP servers have configurable player limits. The default is 10 players, but you can increase this to 20+ players depending on your server resources. Each player can also spawn multiple vehicles, which you can configure in the server settings.
What ports does BeamMP use?
BeamMP uses port 30814 for both TCP and UDP connections. Our hosting automatically configures all necessary port forwarding, so players can connect immediately without manual network setup.
How much RAM does a BeamMP server need?
We recommend 4GB RAM for servers with up to 10 players and 2 cars each (20 vehicles total). For larger servers with 20+ players, 6GB or more is recommended. BeamMP is CPU-intensive due to physics synchronization.
Does BeamMP support mods?
BeamMP supports server-side mods that can customize gameplay, add features, and modify server behavior. Note that client-side mods are not synchronized - only server-side mods work in multiplayer.
How many vehicles can each player spawn?
The default is 1 vehicle per player, but this is fully configurable. You can allow multiple vehicles per player through the ServerConfig.toml file, balancing player freedom with server performance.
