The Allow Guests setting controls whether players without BeamMP Forum accounts can connect to your server. Guest players are those who haven't registered or logged in to BeamMP.
Guest players may have limited functionality. Some servers prefer registered users for better moderation and tracking.
Configuring Allow Guests
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.

- Click the Settings tab and select BeamMP ServerConfig.toml.

- Locate the Allow Guests setting.

- Set your preference:
- Enabled: Anyone can join (guests and registered users)
- Disabled: Only players with BeamMP accounts can join
- Click Save and Start your server.
When to Allow Guests
Enable guests when:
- Running a public server open to everyone
- You want maximum accessibility
- Account verification isn't important
Disable guests when:
- You want accountability for player behavior
- Running a moderated community server
- You need to track and ban specific players
How BeamMP Accounts Work
BeamMP accounts are created through the BeamMP Forum. Players with accounts have:
- A consistent username across sessions
- The ability to be added as server admins
- Better tracking for bans and moderation
Guest access is configured. Your server will now allow or block guest players based on your setting.
