How to Change the Server Description on Your BeamMP Server

Set a description that displays in the server browser.

The Server Description provides additional information about your server to players browsing the server list. Use it to explain your server's rules, features, or community.

The default description is "Hosted by wabbanode.com". You can customize this to better represent your server.

Changing the Server Description

  1. Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server. Wabbanode control panel with stop button

  4. Click Save and Start your server.

Tips for Server Descriptions

  • Explain what makes your server unique
  • List any rules or guidelines
  • Mention installed mods or custom maps
  • Include community links (Discord, etc.)
  • Maximum length is 1000 characters

Your server description is updated. Players will see this information when viewing your server in the browser.
