How to Change the Server Name on Your BeamMP Server

Customize how your server appears in the server browser.

The Server Name is what players see when browsing the BeamMP server list. A descriptive name helps players identify your server and understand what type of experience you offer.

Your server name is visible in the public server browser if your server is not set to private.

Changing the Server Name

  1. Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server. Wabbanode control panel with stop button

  4. Click Save and Start your server.

Tips for Server Names

  • Keep it concise but descriptive
  • Include the server's purpose (e.g., "Freeroam", "Racing", "Demolition Derby")
  • Avoid special characters that may not display correctly
  • The maximum length is 250 characters

Your server name is updated. Players will now see the new name when browsing the server list.
