How to Configure Server Tags on Your BeamMP Server

Add custom tags to help players find your server.

Server Tags help players filter and find servers that match their interests. Tags appear in the server browser and allow players to search for specific server types.

Tags are only visible when your server is public. Private servers don't appear in the server browser.

Configuring Server Tags

Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
Click the Settings tab and select BeamMP ServerConfig.toml.
Locate the Server Tags field and enter your tags separated by commas (e.g., Racing,Drift,Freeroam).
Click Save and Start your server.

Common Server Tags

Tag	Description
Freeroam	Open driving with no specific objectives
Racing	Competitive racing events
Drift	Drifting-focused gameplay
Derby	Demolition derby / crash events
Roleplay	Roleplay community server
Traffic	AI traffic enabled
Modded	Custom vehicles available

Tag Guidelines

Use relevant tags that accurately describe your server
Separate multiple tags with commas (no spaces after commas)
Maximum total length is 100 characters
The default tag is "Freeroam"

Your server tags are configured. Players can now find your server by filtering for these tags in the browser.
