An Auth Key is required to run a BeamMP server. This key identifies your server with the BeamMP backend and is necessary for your server to appear in the public server list.
Never share your Auth Key with anyone. Treat it like a password. If someone obtains your key, they can impersonate your server.
Getting Your Auth Key
- Go to the BeamMP Keymaster.
- Click Login and sign in with your Discord account.
- Once logged in, click the Keys tab on the left side.

- Click the + button to create a new key.

- Enter a name for your server (this is just for your reference).

- Click Create and copy the generated key.

Each key can only be used for one server at a time. If you have multiple servers, you'll need to create a separate key for each one.
Adding the Auth Key to Your Server
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.

- Click the Settings tab and select BeamMP ServerConfig.toml.

- Locate the Auth Key field and paste your key.

- Click Save and Start your server.
Common Auth Key Issues
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| "Invalid AuthKey" error | Double-check you copied the entire key with no extra spaces |
| Server not appearing in list | Ensure Private Server is disabled and the key is valid |
| "AuthKey already in use" | Each key works for one server only - create a new key |
Your Auth Key is configured. Your BeamMP server can now authenticate with the BeamMP backend and appear in the server browser (if public).
