Modpacks are an excellent way to take your Minecraft gameplay to the next level, adding new features, mobs, bosses, quests and machinery to your experience. They're incredibly popular, so we've made a handful of guides to teach you about installing modpacks at Wabbanode.
If you're switching to a modpack from any other server type (such as Vanilla Minecraft) or switching from one modpack to a different modpack, it's highly recommended to reset your server. While we include this in our automatic modpack installer, it's recommended to take a backup beforehand.
One-Click Installation / Modpack Installer
You can easily install any available modpack from our one-click Modpack Installer. Our system automatically navigates between different Forge, NeoForge and Fabric versions for you, ensuring you only need to worry about installing your modpack locally.
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your Server.
- Optional: Create a server backup. Don't know how? Read our guide on How to Backup your Server Files.
- Open the Modpack Installer by pressing Modpacks on the left.
- Search for the modpack you would like to install. In this example, we will be showing you how to install the All the Mods 10 modpack by ATMTeam.
- Select Choose Version to select your desired version. After which, hit Install.
- Ensure Wipe server before installing is selected if you're switching to this modpack for the first time, then press Install.
- If you're updating your modpack to a newer version, you can safely disable this option to keep your world files intact.

- Your server will immediately begin the installation process, and will update as soon as it has finished installing (
Installing=>Offline)
- Start your server to begin playing.
By following these steps, you've installed a modpack on your server in a few simple steps. Our modpack installer supports installing modpacks from CurseForge of all types, such as Minecraft Forge, NeoForge and Fabric modpacks.
One-Click Modpack Updates
Modpacks can update regularly and it's important to keep your world files safe. Our control panel supports an easy update process to update any modpack that has previously been installed with our Modpack Installer.
- Identify that a new version is available for your modpack. If this button isn't available, an update is not yet available. Press the Update Available button.
- Confirm that your server is not configured to wipe before installing, and press Install.
- Your server will immediately begin the update process, which will visually look the same as installing a modpack.
- Start your server to begin playing on the new version.
By following these steps, you've updated your modpack to the latest version without losing your world files. As always, it's recommended to create a backup before making any large changes to your server.
