Server logs help you track server activity, troubleshoot issues, and monitor player actions. Sons of the Forest offers several logging options to customize how logs are created and formatted.
Enabling timestamp options makes it easier to correlate log entries with specific events and identify when issues occurred.
Configuring Server Logs
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.

- Click the Settings tab and select Sons of The Forest Game Settings.

- Configure the logging options:
- Log Files Enabled — Enable or disable log file creation
- Timestamp Log Filenames — Add timestamps to log file names
- Timestamp Log Entries — Add timestamps to individual log entries

- Click Save and Start your server.
Log Settings Explained

- You don't need activity records
- You're running a private server with trusted players
