How to Host a Frontier Legends Server

Whether you want to build a public community or set up a small private server for your friends, learning how to properly manage your Frontier Legends server is important. This guide covers how to start your server, change settings, and password-protect your server.

Starting Your Server

Before players can connect to your Frontier Legends server, you need to make sure the server is fully online.

1. Log in to the Wabbanode Control Panel.
2. Click the Start button to turn on the server.
3. Check the status under Current Server on the left side of the panel to see if your server is online before attempting to connect.

Your server is now online, and you can connect through the in-game server list.

Customising Server Settings

Adjusting your Frontier Legends server settings lets you control how fast players level up and add a server password to prevent other players from joining.

1. Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
2. Click the Settings tab to find your Frontier Legends Server Settings
3. Locate the settings you wish to change. For example, increasing your XP Multiplier to 3 will grant players triple experience points.
4. If you wish to change your Max Players setting, entering a number like 20 will allow up to twenty people to join your server at a time.
5. Click Save and then Start your server to apply the changes.

Making Your Server Private

If you only want a select group of friends to access your world, you can easily secure it with a password.

1. Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
2. Click the Settings tab to find your Frontier Legends Server Settings
3. Locate the Server Password field and enter your desired password. Afterwards, ensure Private Server has been turned on.
4. Click Save and Start your server.

Server Management Best Practices

• Always turn off the server before editing any settings or files to avoid data corruption
• Set your Auto Save Time to an interval such as 600 seconds to back up your progress every ten minutes
• Keep your server name unique so your community can easily find it in the public server browser
